Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Hydrogen Energy Systems in the Graduate School of Engineering

The Mechanical Engineering Major Group in the Graduate School of Engineering was reorganized into the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Hydrogen Energy Systems in April, 2010.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering has setup two courses; the Mechanical Engineering Course and the International Doctoral Program (Global Course). The classes etc of the Global Course are lectured in English. All of the classes are lectured in full-English in the Department of Hydrogen Energy Systems.
The Doctoral Course of the Department of Mechanical Engineering is an educational program that prepares students to attain an innovative researcher who has advanced expertise and superior capacity for the analysis, and an advanced professional engineer who acquired both advanced specialty and wide knowledge. The International Doctoral Program (Global Course) in Mechanical Engineering promotes the human resources who can work worldwide actively regardless of student's nationality.
The Doctoral Course of the Department of Hydrogen Energy Systems is an educational program that prepares students to attain an international researcher who can work worldwide or an advanced professional engineer, and to lead the development of a safe and reliable low carbon society with the expertise of hydrogen energy and other sustainable energy technologies in academic research and in the energy industries.
