Q1 Why did you choose to come the Department of Applied Quantum Physics and Nuclear Engineering, Graduate school of Engineering, Kyushu University?

The reason I choose to come to the Faculty of Engineering is
- I like this major, I always want to be an engineer since I was young.
- The new school such as new building, new experimental equipment and new environmental is satisfied with study.
- Location of the university is in Kyushu near Asia, so even the weather, food and culture is not too far different from my home country.

Q2 What do you research in your major?

My research is about a new electronic material which is related to nanotechnology. It is the new technology which is hot nowadays. I think I can learn a lot a new technology in Japan.
When I finish school and go back home, even though my home country has not yet reached an advance technology like Japan. I think that, in the future it will be useful for my country as the developing country to introduce it. And I also want the new generation in my country to know what the new technology is and how we can use to develop our country.

Q3 How do you like Japan, Kyushu or Fukuoka?

Since I come from Asia country, Kyushu is the island where is located near Asia, and have a good relationship with Asia country, especially Fukuoka prefecture. It is said the gate of Asia.
The weather in Fukuoka is suitable to live, not too cold and not too hot.
When I first came to Fukuoka, I have impression that the people here are really out-going, friendly. Even my Japanese was not so good to talk with, but they tried to talk with their gesture, and try to help me.
For Fukuoka life, I think here is very comfortable for foreign student. The food here is very delicious but low price comparing to other city in Japan.

Q4 Please advise something to younger students who come to Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kyushu University.

If you plan to come to Kyushu University, first I ask questions to your, what do you want to learn and what do you want to know about?
The professors and teachers in University are gentle and they can give you a lot of advices even with your study and your life in Japan. Your goal will become easy to achieve.
No need to worry about your life, a lot of foreign students and Japanese supporters will support and help you with enjoy.

Q1 Why did you choose to come the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Kyushu University?

Industrial Revolution has made our life comes to a stage that incomparable to the previous era, from the view of technology and civilization. This was possible because of our success in discovering the variety of energy sources, and as well as the good applications of it. Unfortunately, as we all know, it brings many problems to the environment. I choose this major because I wanted to study nuclear engineering. Like other energy sources, nuclear power also could be harmful to us and our environment, unless it is used under careful attention. There are still much we don't know about nuclear technology, and it is our responsibility to study, and make a good use of it.

Q2 What do you study in your subject?

Beside fundamental engineering subjects, I study modern physics and nuclear engineering subjects. In future, I would like to be in the nuclear engineering related research.

Q3 How do you like Japan, Kyushu or Fukuoka?

- Japan is a very unique country. There a lot of moral and etiquette inside its culture, which are still preserved although it has become one of the most advanced country in the world.
- In Japan, I like autumn season the most, because it feels so much relief after the summer which is extremely hot.
- Final semester is the most challenging period in these 4 years at school of engineering. Doing research is quite interesting, but it requires a lot of patience, physical and mental strength.
