Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, School of Engineering

Today, dependence on electrical energy is so entrenched in our societies that we cannot imagine our life without electricity, thus indicating that the future growth of demand for electrical energy tends to continuously increase. Furthermore, energy-saving and the promotion of the use of renewable energy are strongly required from environmental problems such as global warming and exhaustion of fossil fuels. The research projects at the "Green Power Electronics Circuits Laboratory" cover a wide range of power electronics circuits and systems which are eco-friendly and will contribute to a clean future society.
