Catalysis science and technology is one of the important technologies for solving energy and environmental problems. Our target is to develop inorganic functional materials and catalytic reaction processes. We design the catalytic materials such as supported metal catalysts, metal oxides, ordered porous materials. The
physical and chemical properties of these materials are controlled by changing the constituent elements, crystal structures, surface structures, and morphology. We also study the basic properties of these catalytic materials using high-resolution TEM to clarify the relationship between the structures and catalytic functions.
